We are thrilled to announce such a world-class line up of soloists. Joshua Bell and Steven Isserlis need no introduction to music lovers and are at the peak of their considerable international careers. Less well known is that they are good friends who enjoy the extra stimulus and frisson of making music together! Add two Russian virtuosi, Sergej Krylov returning to the ECO Cruise by popular demand and astounding trumpeter Sergei Nakariakov, the “by appointment” harp virtuoso Claire Jones, plus the return of Igor Levit and Stephen Johnson who were so much lauded on the 2009 Cruise, and it is clear that the recitals and concerts are going to be very special indeed.
